Job Description
Immediate opening for qualified Program Assistants with ConnectiKids Inc., a Hartford based non-profit organization. The salary starts at $15 per hour. The Program Assistant works directly with the students overseeing them during programming, managing behavior, ensuring the students safety whilst guaranteeing ConnectiKids’ mission is being upheld. This is a part time position between the hours of 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. The tutoring and mentoring program runs from September to June. The summer program runs from July to August. The hours for summer vary, 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Wanted: Finance Assistant: an individual passionate about ConnectiKids’ work and wants to use their excellent and persuasive writing and organizational skills as a part of our team. The selected staff will support, coordinate, and assist in preparing reports, grants, appeals, and planning events for the organization.
The role of the finance person is strategic by nature, creating budgets, analyzing financial statements, and strategically interpreting the data. The individual will be an active partner with the Executive Director (ED), Account Resources Inc, and the Development Director. They will bring a forward-looking and proactive stance to managing ConnectiKids finances. The individual will also be responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. The Part time financial officer will work in collaboration with the Executive Director to strengthen ConnectiKids financial health, create a consistent financial operational and strategic role by managing an establishing strategy for profitable long-term growth.

CLOSED: Counselor in Training (Seasonal- Summer)
Job Description
The 2022 Counselor in Training Program is for teens aged 14-17 who will participate in leadership training, learn professional standards of work behavior, and gain the experience of working in a nonprofit youth development organization. CIT students will receive a biweekly stipend.
