Located in the vibrant Asylum Hill neighborhood of Hartford in partnership with others, ConnectiKids empowers the community through our mission to “connects students facing systemic inequities and other barriers with people, places, and experiences that level the playing field and inspire academic achievement, positive life choices, and big dreams.” We fulfill this youth-empowering, equity-advancing mission in partnership with schools, families, and the community. We provide one-on-one academic tutoring, individualized mentoring, arts and enrichment programs, and community-based learning experiences during the academic year and summer. These connections and opportunities motivate historically underserved kids to embrace elevated expectations, overcome adversity, and reach their full potential.

Executive Assistant
Wanted: An individual passionate about ConnectiKids’ work and wants to use their excellent and persuasive writing and organizational skills as a part of our team. The selected staff will support, coordinate, and assist in preparing reports, grants, appeals, and planning events for the organization.
The role of the finance person is strategic by nature, creating budgets, analyzing financial statements, and strategically interpreting the data. The individual will be an active partner with the Executive Director (ED), Account Resources Inc, and the Development Director. They will bring a forward-looking and proactive stance to managing ConnectiKids finances. The individual will also be responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. The Part time financial officer will work in collaboration with the Executive Director to strengthen ConnectiKids financial health, create a consistent financial operational and strategic role by managing an establishing strategy for profitable long-term growth.
Program Assistant
Wanted: A qualified Education Program Assistants with ConnectiKids Inc., a Hartford based nonprofit organization. The Program Assistant works directly with the students overseeing them during programming, managing behavior, ensuring the students safety whilst guaranteeing ConnectiKids’ mission is being upheld.
ConnectiKids is looking for people who are passionate about the growth and development in our youth. Program Assistants support our mission and goals through managing participants’ information (documenting attendance, calling parents, writing notes for the day, parent sign out, etc.), forming partnerships with teachers, parents, and community partners, facilitate lesson plans, being a positive role model to all students, and more!
